Cassie Barlow is a volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association in Dayton, Ohio, and on the Alzheimer's Association Miami Valley Chapter Board of Directors. There are five million people in our country right now who are living with Alzheimer's disease. And there are 16 million people who are caring for those five million. This disease kills more than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. Walk to End Alzheimer's is everywhere! No matter where you are, you can walk in small, safe groups of friends and family in your community. Because we're all raising funds for one goal: A world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia. We talk with Cassie about how this walk has changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But how it is actually just as easy to participate, raise money, and raise awareness.
