About
Welcome to Musicians Tip Jar where we talk about musicians and money. Where we think that everything you do should have your stamp on it and hope that nothing you stamp on has any do do. I’m your host Chris Webb, joined by my co-host and the guy who has to tiptoe around my joke every week, Dave Tamkin. Quote:“When you get the money, you still need to keep going; You don’t stop. There has to be something else. I think it’s the freedom to do what you want and live your dreams.” - Paul McCartney When we started musicians tip jar our mission was to create a single resource that could help our community of artists create strong financial foundations around their talents to insure long successful careers. Today we are doing something long overdue in those efforts; shedding light on the ever growing resource that is www.musicianstipjar.comFor many, the term “bucket list” has a negative connotation as it is associated with a list of things to do before dying. For Kaydee Koch, creating a bucket list was simply a way to tap into her creative side, that part of herself that dared to dream bigger and make life more meaningful. She started keeping a bucket list when she was in middle school and never stopped. Kaydee’s bucket lists were bold, colorful, imaginative and inspiring, just like the girl who created them. Their Mission is two fold: to provide experiences, memories and bucket list dream fulfillment for young adults ages 18-26 diagnosed with cancer or a life-limiting illness; to provide materials and art supplies to younger pediatric patients as a way to share Kaydee’s love of bucket lists and the positive impact they had in her life. With the countless hours Dave continues to create and expand the resources offered at musicians tip jar and we decided it was time to shed some light on all of it so we are all more aware of what’s available when you need it. This also gives us an opportunity to experience another area in which Dave is truly a talent, online marketing.Ways to connect with us:Musicians Tip Jar.comMusicians Tip Jar@gmailIntro & Outro Music Donated by: The Magi https://www.themagimusic.com Intro Read by: David “DJ” Lee of The Magi https://soundcloud.com/rockababyrock Pictures by: Kit Chalberg https://kitchalberg.com/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/musicians-tip-jar--4698023/support.
