He has completed an integrated MPhil/Ph.D. from the Centre for South Asian Studies of the School of International Studies (SIS) at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Hyderabad.
