About
In Acts 9, we read about the conversion of Saul, a prominent persecutor of the Christians, to Christianity. On his way to Damascus to capture Christians and bring them to Jerusalem, Saul was met by a bright light and the voice of Jesus Christ, who asked him why he was persecuting him. Saul was blinded and after being taken to a disciple named Ananias, he regained his sight through prayer and was baptized. Saul then began preaching the gospel, which caused many to question his conversion. He had to flee from Damascus, but eventually gained acceptance in Jerusalem as a true follower of Christ. The chapter ends with Saul, now known as Paul, gaining the trust of the disciples and continuing to preach the word of God.
