Adam Lane, also known as the Highway Killer, attacked five women between July 13th to July 30th, 2007, in three different states. He was a truck driver and carried hunting knives, choke wire, and a leather mask. Lane's first known victim was Darlene Uelts, followed by Patricia Brooks and Monica Massaro. He was captured after attacking Shaya McDonald. Lane was sentenced to life in prison for murder and attempted murder.
