Amy Archer Gilligan was a nursing home proprietor and serial killer in Windsor, Connecticut. She ran a boarding house for the elderly and poisoned her clients for financial gain. Archer was eventually caught and convicted of multiple murders. The investigation was sparked by suspicions from Andrews's siblings and an article in the Hartford Courant.
