He is a father of one, a proud husband, and an Afghan-American. He loves to travel the world and doesn’t allow fear to overcome his desire for a free life for him and his family. Matthew Stroup is a prior-enlisted Naval officer with more than 14 years in service. He served as part of Provincial Reconstruction Team Farah from 2012-2013.
