About
Check out Amanda's conversation with Kiz Manley! Kiz's older sister, Promila, died in a car accident in 2000. PTSD ensued without diagnosis. She was trained to teach English & Drama. When her father died in 2010, she was recovering from an undiagnosed delayed traumatised grief reaction and breakdown. This is when she discovered therapeutic writing. Hip Hop HEALS began as a mental health inequality project. Hip Hop HEALS delivers poetry therapy-style workshops in schools, probation centres, mental health units and homeless hostels.Kiz's Links:https://www.hiphophealsuk.org/Be sure to check out The Poet Speaks Podcast onInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/thepoetspeakspodcast/And listen to , The Poet Speaks Podcast, on the go on ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS WORLDWIDE!Apple:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-poet-speaks-podcast/id1595514895?uo=4Spotify:https://open.spotify.com/show/1cM1rdF7XBfxwBcc6IPQow?si=52a2f5e63d6c4bc7Did you know The Poet Speaks is also Amanda's touring global workshop?
