If you were to just go by his soft-spoken mannerisms, and his innocence, you would never believe that 19-year-old Shailendra Singh from Bijalpura Rajasthan is a child rights crusader! He’s prevented five child marriages in his city, and has even rescued 33 children from being forced into child labour! If that wasn’t enough, he even spends his time putting out-of-school kids back in schools! He says that when he grows up, he wants to run his own NGO in Rajasthan, and when we grow up - we want to be more like Shailendra!
