No King was blessed with the talents, energy and potential of Solomon. He was a child of grace and love whose name signalled that God was gracious to David and Bathsheba. No one was wiser than Solomon and no King achieved the prestige and power that he enjoyed. Yet this man who gained so much in 20 years came crashing down, sowing seeds which future generations would harvest to their destruction.
