The way back to Ayodhya was long and hard and the fourteen years were coming to a close. Bharata had sworn that he would take his life if Rama did not reach Ayodhya by the end of the stipulated time. Vibhishana offered the aerial vehicle Pushpaka, and soon the party left for Ayodhya.
