Mark served in the active Army and Army Reserves for a total of ten years before joining the Marine Corps. He served in many leadership roles including being my first platoon sergeant when I entered the fleet Marine force in 1998.Mark did several deployments including peacetime and combat.Mark retired from the Marine Corps in 2008 as a staff sergeant.
