Dr Ashwini Bhalerao is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, an alumni of Nair hospital dental college. She has been practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery exclusively having her own surgical clinic and attached as a visiting consultant to private nursing homes in Mumbai. She has been a recipient of the prestigious Oral Surgeon of the year at Famdent excellence in dentistry award. Recently in March 2020, she also received the diploma of membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal college of physicians and surgeons of Glasgow. She has lectured extensively in India and abroad.. Her favourite event was the TEDx conclave at Baden Baden in Germany in 2017 , where she spoke alongside 35 leading lady dentists from around the world.She also holds a 2-day teaching module “ Fundamentals of Oral Surgery “ for general practitioners.
